COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic Update
We hope this message finds everyone well and enjoying the holiday season. Please continue to wear your mask, practice social distancing and wash your hands frequently so that everyone can have a safe and Happy New Year. We are all looking forward to getting back to work and establishing our new normal as soon as possible.
Both of the Fun-N-Learning facilities remain closed due to the outbreak of COVID-19. If you drive by either of these locations and see a parking lot full of cars you may think we are open. During this time we have continued to have both facilities remodeled. When we open back up both locations should look brand new. We are aware of rumors floating around on sites like Facebook. We do not have a Facebook account nor have we ever had a Facebook account. Legitimate updates can only be found on this website. We are not closing down permanently as has apparently been claimed. We have been doing business in this community for more than 25 years, and will be back when we and the staff feel like it is safe to do so. We pray that all of our families and friends stay safe and healthy. We look forward to see you all again soon. We hope everyone has a safe and Happy Fourth of July.
Due to the increased number of COVID-19 cases over the last few days, Fun-N-Learning has decided to push our re-opening to Phase Three.
We hope you and your families are doing well. We have been paying close attention to the guidelines from the State of North Carolina and the White House during this difficult time. We typically follow the same schedule as the school districts and as such we had intended to reopen on May 18th. However in light of the recent announcement from the State that schools will remained closed until the fall we are looking to the White House for our best guidelines. Per the Opening Up America Again initiative that has been posted here https://www.whitehouse.gov/openingamerica - "SCHOOLS AND ORGANIZED YOUTH ACTIVITIES (e.g., daycare, camp) can reopen" in Phase Two on this schedule. For a state or region to be eligible for Phase Two there should be no evidence of a rebound of the virus. We as a community, as a business, and as a family pray that this event ends as soon as possible and that it doesn't return. Please continue to do your part to keep yourself and everyone around you safe.
We hope this update finds everyone well. Just wanted to let you know that we miss all of our little people and are looking forward to getting things back to normal as soon as we can safely do so. We've used this time out to give the centers a face lift with a fresh coat of paint, planting grass seed, shampoo the carpets, and stripe and polish the floors, etc. in anticipation of re-opening. Please know that your all in our thoughts and prayers and we hope that everyone has a safe and Happy Easter. See you soon.
NCDHHS Announces Hotline for Critical Workers Seeking Child Care Options
The State Of North Carolina announced on March 23, 2020 that public schools are being ordered closed through May 15th.
In an attempt to limit the transmission of the COVID-19 virus both Fun-N-Learning locations will be closed through May 15th.
Making the decision to close does not come lightly. We feel it is our responsibility to do everything we can to keep our students, families, and faculty safe and healthy. As a family business that has been in continuous operation for a quarter of a century we have never experienced anything like this. We hope everyone will come through this pandemic safely, our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

Quality Child Care
Fun-N-Learning offers quality care and individual attention in a creative, safe and stimulating environment. The staff provides hands-on activities that promote emerging skills development while allowing the students to explore and play in a learning atmosphere.
The state-licensed child care facilities feature a developmentally appropriate and educationally-based curriculum for children.
Using Creative Curriculum, the state approved lessons allow teachers to tailor their lessons to meet individual needs.
“It’s hard to find people who will love your children like their own, and I feel like the staff at Fun-N-Learning truly loves them as much as I do,” said parent Laura Shadron. “This alleviates any stress and enables me to go to work without worrying about them because I know they’re safe and secure in a nurturing environment.”
